Every year Real Simple magazine holds it’s annual essay contest on a theme where they award a cash prize. This year first place is $3,000. Second place is $750 and Third place is $500 are also given. The theme this year is “What Single Decision Changed Your Life?” The Real Simple Editors will judge. Submit and essay of up to 1,500 words by September 21. There is no entry fee.
